CONTRIBUTE TO CWJF

Financial contributions allow Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum to maintain all aspects or daily operations, implement all if it’s service programs, assist our community partners with their programs, fund scholarships and foster opportunities for community outreach. Unless specifically directed, your generous contribution will be used as most needed in one of the three areas below to address our mission of making a difference in the lives of families, children and seniors through heartfelt service.

On our donation page you will have the option to direct your donation to honor a friend or family member, to give in their memory or express sympathy via the G.I.F.T.S. (Giving in Friendship, Tribute or Sympathy) option.

HOW WILL YOUR DONATION BE USED?

CWJF has 2 expense categories for which your general donation will be used.  They include the Operating Fund and the Service Program Fund.

OPERATING FUND

CWJF is fortunate to have an office to facilitate the day to day operations necessary to keep our organization running.  We have space to facilitate some of our Service Programs, meeting space, storage space and office space for our Executive Officers.  We have no payroll expense as our office is run 100% by our volunteers but, as you would expect, there are expenses that are necessary to maintain this space.  Your donation may be used for expenses related to rent, insurance, maintenance, office equipment, furniture, telephone, technology, office supplies, and accounting services.

SERVICE PROGRAM FUND

Community service is the mission for CWJF.  All service programs provide the opportunity to interact and enrich the community on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. CWJF operates four Signature programs: BookSmart, Baxter the Bookworm,  F.A.S.T. Friends and Forum Friends.  CWJF also partners with other local non-profit organizations to encourage community involvement and provide service programming.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Each year, CWJF gives over 50 scholarships to young women graduating high school in our service area. The scholarship, valued at $1,000, helps a student pay for her education.  Your donation may be used to partially or fully fund a Current Year Scholarship.

Should you should wish to endow a scholarship, a donation of $20,000 can be made and will be invested with interest to fund an annual $1,000 scholarship in the name of the donor or an honoree in perpetuity.  This donation may be made in 3 payments or one lump some.  You may also choose to give any amount to go toward funding a $1,000 “Current Year Scholarship”.  For further information, please click on the Scholarship tab above.

Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is a 501c(3) organization and all gifts are tax deductible.
