SERVICE PROGRAMS

The main focus of Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is to provide volunteer service in the community. We achieve this through a combination of our own Signature Programs and Partnered Programs. Our Signature Programs are fully funded and supported by CWJF without the aid or support of another organization. Additionally, CWJF partners with other non-profit organizations to assist those in need throughout our community. These diverse programs allow CWJF to regularly work with children, senior citizens, families, the disadvantaged, and mentally challenged and make a meaningful and lasting impact in our community.

SENIOR PROGRAMMING

Cypress-Woodlands Junior Forum is proud to sponsor several programs serving senior citizens in our community. These include our Signature Programs “Forum Friends” and “F.A.S.T. Friends”, and a partnership with Paradise Springs Retirement Community.   CWJF members also participate in Meals On Wheels delivery programs from three locations as well as the Meals on Wheels Breakfast Bag program and a Food Distribution program for Seniors in need through the Montgomery County Food Bank.

CHILDREN’S PROGRAMMING

CWJF serves children with two programs that promote reading: Baxter the Bookworm and BookSmart. We also promote arts appreciation by serving at The Cynthia Mitchel Pavilion Children’s Festival.

FAMILY PROGRAMMING

CWJF works to provide support for families in our community in partnership with the TEAM Food Pantry, Montgomery County Food Bank,  Interfaith’s Hand Me Up Shop, The Giving Gown program, REACH Unlimited, The Home Place of Texas and the Habitat for Humanity Restore.

VETERAN’S APPRECIATION PROGRAMMING

Recognizing the valuable contribution and supreme sacrifice of our country’s military, CWJF has a program in place to honor our local veterans.  The “Honoring Vets’ program at the Veteran’s Clinic in Tomball, Texas provides thank-you cards and treat bags for waiting Vets and those leaving the clinic after their appointments.
